When I was younger I played many sports. It wasn't until I moved to Colorado that I found what I was most passionate about...Rugby. I started playing rugby in my freshman year of high school. I fell in love with the sport and became team captain my sophomore year through the rest of high school. I got recruited for camps from the USA Eagles and I traveled to many states and countries to play. After being team captain for many years I realized how much I loved to lead and see others improve. For conditioning, we would go to CrossFit. I didn't know what CrossFit was at the time but I fell in love with everything about it. Years later I wanted to become a coach, so I did. I got my level one right when I turned 17 and started coaching. Now I am getting my level two and hope to keep succeeding as a coach.
In 2022 I sprained all of the ligaments in my ankle and I was out from playing rugby and doing any physical activity. The first thing that went to my head when I hurt my ankle was, "I am going to lose all of my progress". My mental health plummeted and I got super depressed. Instead of swimming in my defeat, I tried to look at the positive side of things. I still went to CrossFit every day and did the workouts the best I could with one leg. I was super strong with my legs before I injured my foot so I decided now would be a good time to focus on my upper body. Fast forward to now, I am more strong and fitter than I ever was.
I love seeing others thrive and Improve. My purpose for coaching is to help others get to their greatest potential whatever that might be. I find so much joy and happiness in seeing other people improve or get a new skill. I want to be the person to help them reach their goal.
