Hannah Trozan Member of the Month (June 2026)

How did you discover CrossFit? 

Previously I had been a runner and triathlete, but found the training kind of boring. A coworker of mine back in 2018 suggested I try crossfit. I took his advice and loved it!

What draws you to DeNovo CrossFit?

The coaches are so special -  super welcoming, knowledgeable, accommodating, and hard working. The community is an amazing group of people that genuinely care about each other.

What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment in life? 

I'm proud of the balanced life I've built as a whole. My husband, pets, friends, hobbies, fitness, work I enjoy. I feel lucky for all the good fortune I've had to create a life I love. 

What or who EMPOWERS you at DeNovo? 

The coaches and other athletes are so encouraging!

What is your favorite way to use your fitness outside of the gym? 

Currently I'm using it to feel more resilient during pregnancy and I'm hopeful it makes birth and postpartum easier too.

What is your pet peeve? 

People biting popsicles is the WORST sound.

Favorite workout song. 

Bring em out by T.I.

Favorite CrossFit movement or type of workout? 

Power cleans and chippers

What advice would you have for anyone who is nervous to join DeNovo? 

Just give it a try, you'll be addicted before you know it!

What do you do professionally?

I'm an infusion nurse at the UCHealth Cancer Center.

If we were sitting here one year from now, what would we be celebrating together? 

Staying consistent at the gym postpartum after bringing an awesome tiny human into the world.

What are you currently reading? 

The Sleep Lady's Good Night, Sleep Tight

What are you thankful for? 

Super thankful for a healthy pregnancy, being able to keep working out, and that it's almost over.
