What prompted you to start nutrition coaching with DeNovo Nutrition?
I wanted to lose weight and regain the consistency I had lost at the gym.
What are 3-4 things that you GAINED throughout this experience?
I gained a relationship between working out and my own health and weight, in addition to more of a focus on simple things (sleep, working out, and mindfulness in regards to consumption of extra calories).
What are 2-3 things that you LOST?
I lost a few pounds and my lack of motivation has diminished greatly.
What is the biggest thing that you have learned since starting nutrition coaching?
That everything needs to be done in tandem (food, working out, sleep, water) -- they all work together.
What were you struggling with before you signed up for our nutrition program?
Maintaining a consistent focus on my health.
How did our nutrition program help solve that problem?
This program has allowed me to have a more consistent focus, though I still have a ways to go.
What was different about our nutrition program compared to diets you've tried in the past?
This program maintains continued interaction with a coach, versus a short-term program that doesn't last.
Tell us about the moment when you realized our nutrition program was actually working to solve your problem?
Looking at my biometrics helped increase my awareness of where I was headed and encouraged me to make a change.
Tell us what life looks like now that your problem is solved or is being solved?
I'm more intentional with my time and how I plan my day to get where I need to be.
How has the accountability and support of nutrition coaching helped you stay on track?
It has helped me stay on track for my work-out consistency and limit wasted consumption of food & calories.
What would you say to someone considering nutrition coaching with DeNovo Nutrition?
That investing in your health and well-being probably has the highest ROI (return on investment) on anything you can do. Dividends are short-term and long-term.
What is your next nutrition and health related goal?
I want to keep losing weight and focus on improving my strength and endurance.
